Rashad Marecki: You could try a Flirt Pole or similar toy. My dog loves it. She also loves stuffed toys.
Fred Caminita: Squeaky toys, toys which rattle etc etc. Some dogs just don't like toys though, so don't get your hopes up x
Sonya Volcko: My dog dislikes dog toys too! He does play with small balls, like catch. But he doesn't like dog toys, when he sees a towel he loves to play tug of war. Or also when we have an empty soda bottle we toss it on the floor and he has a great time playing with it. Its fun to throw the bottle and watch him try to grip it. Maybe you could try tug of war, or the bottle :)
Burt Cheevers: Not all dogs have the drive to play with toys, particularly if they weren`t introduced to them as puppies. You might want to try a tug - you`ll still have to work at getting your dog to want to play, but not many dogs can resist a game of tug because its interactive. Do NOT make the mistake lots of novices make of shaking the tug in the do! g`s face - play keep-away, acting like this toy is the most fun thing ever to make the dog want to get it.
