Cell phone at an amusement park? Read below.?

Gregg Hagge: usually when i take my cellphone to the amusement park and ride a ride i ask the operator to hold it for me. even though they have the plastic bins it is always safer to have them hold it. but it should be fine in the fanny pack. to add a little protection to it wrap your money around it. ( i wrap mine in my sons extra diaper)lol

Deangelo Marchak: Do not leave your stuff in the plastic bins outside of the rides, these are the number one theft targets at amusement parks. I recommend that you either wear a fanny pack or wear a mini back pack and keep all of your belongings in that at all times. When going on rides, take your cell phone and put it in it's regular case (if you don't have a case for your cell phone, go buy one at Walmart or your cell phone provider's store), then put the cell phone in ! a Ziploc bag to prevent water damage. Make sure the Ziploc bag! is sealed tightly. Then put the Ziploc bag containing the cell phone inside of a fanny pack. Stick the fanny pack on, make sure it's zipped, and have fun on all the roller coasters. Your cell phone will not be damaged unless it's an IPHONE (they have mechanisms similar to IPODS), also some touch screen phones may also be damaged by the jolting around....Show more

Joni Ziak: Your cellphone willmost likely not be damaged. I've only heard of Ipods being damaged by moving around. Also, I wouldnt trust the plastic bins, you know, Amusment park, totally ghetto most of the time.
