Camcorder help?

Adan Stribble: if you have recorded the video on a memory card (SD, memory stick, etc.) in your camcorder, then you can use USB and just plug it in your computer and simply browse the card's folder with your explorer. (it should show just like another drive in "my computer") then drag the movie file where you want it copied..if you have recorded the video on a digital tape, check if for a DV-OUT where you could insert a firewire cable like this http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00005NIMR.01.LZ...smaller end goes to the camcorder. of course you will have to have an "inlet" in you computer to receive the other bigger end of the cable. once inserted and camcorder turned on, (if youre using windows) movie maker should pop-up and ask you what you want to do, (if not, open the program and find the capture video option) click on capture video and continue on with the rest of the options that you prefer.USB on camcorders is usually for downloading from the memory card, mostly pi! ctures (snapshots) from the camcorder. and firewire for capturing movies from the tape.if you could post the model of your camcorder you can get more specific answers....Show more
