Robin Marchione: Maybe you don't know this but your insurance company sends out an "explanation of benefits" statement to the primary insured (your parents). It will show the date of service, the doctor/clinic name, your name as patient & how much they paid. Your parents will find out.

And EOB is a letter telling her how much her insurance company paid out for your treatment. Demetrius Coaster: Health is different from dental, and you won't find a private policy that pays more than HALF the cost of the root canal - after you've held the coverage a full year. It's not worth the money.With health insurance, you get what you pay for. Cheaper premium, means less coverage, period. There's no secret, there's no loophole.
