Health & dental insurance?

Hyman Coren: my dad owns an insurance agency and I work with him, he makes around 100,000 a year. I think if you owned an independent agency as more rates = more customers. Stick with it! It can pay off.

Terresa Tsasie: You can buy a discount plan and get it at a discount. You'll have to pay it out of pocket. I have some links and information on my site.

Ron Keliipio: You can't, you're a minor. If you don't want mom to know you're using birth control, you will have to go to PP and pay cash.

Clement Viscarro: For free insurance quotes

Pearlie Medora: You should apply for Medicaid and since you are under 21 you are eligible if you have no income. Also, Medicaid for dental work is only for people under 21 these days, so you should do it right away. There is Western Dental, a group of dentists that might take a payment plan.

Cassey Hollinghurst: I'm looking for a business where I can potentially make 100,000 a year or more in three to five years, five is more realistic I know, where I can build a referral base, and book of business, and ultimately where I can own my own agency, I understand the insurance business is a very difficult one, but I feel I can make it happen if I want it to, what is your advice out there, and are any of you in the business now? is 100,000 a year very doable in this business? Thank you so much...Show more

Silvia Stclair: You can find the best rates and offers for your insurance at: COVERAGEDEALS.NET

Maynard Reevers: Hello, so my mother has my insurance card and i want to get contraception. I can't talk to my mother about it and do i want to go to planned parenthood. They require an insurance card so is there a way to get one, like at the doctors office? (Btw I'm 16)

Gaston Edgcomb: Hi me and my wife need a Life Insurance ( in the UK - for 30 year ! term. ) we are both 28 Years old and healthy...just want to k! now do we need to provide some documents, medical tests, etc...when applying ?or is it a straight forward and simple application / form to fill in?thank you for any helpkind regards Dave...Show more

Enriqueta Steffen: Dental insurance will have a waiting period and they usually only pay 1/2 on big items. Look in the phone book and start calling. You might want to get a credit card and just get your tooth fixed and pay it off over time.

Chauncey Williama: MY ex husband attempted to do with his old job.I was not working at all and he had always worked(HE was cheating on me and wanted to put me in a bad place so he would get custody). He was told by law(in Tennessee)that he can't just drop me and our son he would have to completely cancel the policy or show proof that we were divorced(divorce papers).I agree with the other answer if you have to get treatment or the kids between now and when the divorce is final not filed final he will have to pay.I would have it p! ut in the divorce that he is to insure the children. You can buy your own private insurance though a couple of place you can goggle that. Also if you try to get state insurance Medicaid they will pursue child support no matter what bills he is paying for you.Don't take his word that he is going to pay those for you because what if he says all of the sudden f it.Than what.Get it all in writing....Show more

Robin Marchione: Maybe you don't know this but your insurance company sends out an "explanation of benefits" statement to the primary insured (your parents). It will show the date of service, the doctor/clinic name, your name as patient & how much they paid. Your parents will find out.

Agustina Stimmel: As mentioned, dental insurance will have a waiting period, usually 12 months. There are dental policies that pay a graduated benefit for major procedures but they'll only pay 10 - 20% of the cost. If you desperately need dental work you can try a dental school, ! where you can get good service at a reasonable cost. You can find the n! earest dental school here: http://www.yourhealthplanadvisor.com/Dentalschools...

Curt Broadhead: Planned Parenthood does not take insurance. They take donations only. Even if you were able to get a duplicate insurance card by telling the insurance co. you lost yours, your doctor visit would show up on the quarterly statement your parents get in the mail. You are too young to engage in sexual activity. You should wait a couple of years.

Jules Ashbach: It's very straight forward and unless you have any serious existing medical conditions or are applying for an unusually large amount of cover they're aren't generally any tests or medical documents required etc. Of course if you tick the 'I'm healthy' box and drop dead of Leprosy tomorrow.... there's just a wee chance they might not pay out.As always with insurance .... be honest and mention anything which may be relevant.Just make sure you know exactly what you're getting (e.g. does it cover death while swinging fro! m the rafters dressed as Batman etc) and do a good comparison between the different products.Seems daunting.... but actually it's a piece of the proverbial....Show more

Gene Debell: On it sites are good top links for decisions of your problem http://topfin32.100webspace.net/s.php?qid=9AAcMjQ

Alden Sabio: The only way to get an insurance card for only a person under 19 without a knowing is to get a job that provides insurance cards. If can't get a job that provides insurance cards and you want to get contraception without your parents knowing, then your only other options are:a. Tell your mother that you need an insurance card for some other reason (like going to the doctor for the flu, acne, whatever).b. Go to a place that does not require insurance cards.Insurance cards can be obtained these ways:1. Through a job of your own. This is the only way to do it before age 19 without your parent knowing.2. Through a parent's job. However, the parent has to know.3.! Through a spouse's job. However, you'd have to be married.4. By purch! asing insurance yourself directly from an insurance company, but you can't do that until you are 19.5. Through a government program. However, you have to provide detailed information about the income of everyone in your entire household, including your parents, and you can't get it without them knowing....Show more

Francis Stickle: YOu are not the only one who met this problem,I have met this type of problem before.I have good experience here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.infoto solve my similiar problem....Show more

Iris Shawcroft: Planned Parenthood does not require an insurance card. If you use the insurance provided by your mom, she will know as she will receive an EOB from her insurance company for your appointment. And EOB is a letter telling her how much her insurance company paid out for your treatment. So if you use insurance, she will know. You have 2 choices, pay for everything with cash or talk to your mom....Show more

Patrica Loertscher:! Planned Parenthood does not require an ID card or any insurance at all. Talk to a supervisor. Congratulations on being responsible so you don't get pregnant. But really 16? Too young for that stuff. If you really want an ID card you can probly go online with the insurance company website and print one out.

Wally Gower: health-quotes.talk4fun.net - my family have this health insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.

Lynn Mctier: Compare free quotes from dif companies at QUOTESTOINSURE.INFO-RE Health & dental insurance? I'm 20 years old and I am in bad need of insurance. I really need dental insurance because I need a root canal and when I turned 18 and could no longer be on my mother's insurance I had no choice but to not get the root canal. And I desperately need it done. Where can I go to find quality but affordable health & dental insurance for my age? I live in Alabama....Show more

Pattie Vold: i don't think so. yo! u should tell your mother dear. its the best way, you will live without! guilt

Jannette Kotz: You need to tell your mother or plan to pay out of pocket. Planned parenthood is another option for sure.Glad to see some people are still responsible, but you should have an honest talk with your mom about the situation.

Demetrius Coaster: Health is different from dental, and you won't find a private policy that pays more than HALF the cost of the root canal - after you've held the coverage a full year. It's not worth the money. With health insurance, you get what you pay for. Cheaper premium, means less coverage, period. There's no secret, there's no loophole.
