Samatha Nicar: I have had Dish and Direct...and you are right ...they go out ..A LOTIf you have the option you should go back to cable!I moved and now I have Time Warner and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.I have Showtime and Cinamax ON DEMAND as well as a lot of other "on demand" channels like A & E, ect. there are lots of choices when there is nothing on...it is like having a library full of movies, shows, etc. PLUS, I have RoadRunner (which is awesome), and telephone with them...that I can call long distance any where with only a monthly charge!!NO, I do not work for TW...I have never had cable before 18 months ago and I AM A VERY BIG FAN=)...Show more

Jen Maday: The only two in our area are Dish and DirectTV. We had DirectTV for three years prior and it was overpriced and the service was terrible. We like Dish because of the two DVRs and we could get local channels (at the time we switche! d we lived in the country and DirectTV didn't offer the locals).
Hipolito Rightmire: lol,,,,I don't have dish network BUT,,my cable is the same> all we need is a slight breeze and we loose not only the cable but out power too!!!Just got our power back on yesterday and it went out Sunday after a BAD storm ( that I understand ) but a breeze?>>Good Luck & choose wiselyand the worse part is we pay $150.00 a month for cable and internet!thats why I watch so much TV and play on here so often>>>getting MY money's worth ( joke )...Show more

Stanton Degregorio: We only have one choice ! in our area for cable and it's not that great. We have interne! t and phone through them already, but we chose to keep Dish because of the DVR situation. We are addicted to our DVRs! I guess I just need to suck it up. lol
Marquetta Gimm: I was told it was because the thickness of the clouds and the wiring was not hooked up right. We switched to directv and could not be happier.
Kris Otuafi: I swear it goes out all the time. Whenever it rains, we lose our signal. Anyone else have this problem? Makes me wanna go back to cable.
Branden Round: really? i never have that problem, in the 3 years i've had it, i think it's gone out maybe 3 times! call dish, maybe your dish is in a bad spot and moving it would help! best wishes
