Sheree Hipwell: Yes, people lie all the time, even if they are your friends they are bound to not be 100% truthful. Talk to your friend and tell him that you know the truth and ask why he lied. Ask that he not lie to you anymore, since you want to continue to be his friend. If you don't trust him, I guess you can always stop being friends.

Donte Schoenhals: its to keep track of how many returns you are making in that store without a receipt.. if you do a lot then they keep track of that to know why are returning so many items with out a receipt. Are you stealing, ripping them off or what?Another reason is a lot of stores have a limit of how many returns you could do without a receipt. I was told once at Walmart when I was making a return without one ( I almost always keep my receipt) that you have a limit of 3 returns a year without one and they know this by your I.D... af! ter that, only returns with receipt.its a good policy becuase it keeps ! track of crooks. and if you are that doubtful about your purchases and return them that often you WOULD keep the receipt.
