Tatiana Evanosky: its popular because it is more expensive than drugstore but less expensive to super high end make up such as CHANEL or DIOR, so it is in a middle price range. it has a lot of affordable quality products, huge range of selection for eyeshadows and lipsticks. it is also give out huge discounts to make up artists, or people who work in beauty related industries. and when it first started out it was made especially for theatre make up.

However, using MAC Studio Fix is better, I feel, for 3 reasons: there is only one step to use MAC vs. several with Bare Minerals to achieve basically the same look. There are many more shades to choose from in MAC and just about 3 shades with Bare Minerals, so a greater chance of matching your natural skin color. MAC is much less expensive! Lu Snide: I've used their liquid foundation before, it's okay, it's a bit thick for my taste, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin, but the coverage is good. Lou Rought: MAC is a very high end product. The eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, and the brushes are by far the best, that is why many people prefer to use it. However, it is not always the best choice! , it is just the most common, it has been the only good makeup for many years, but with advances today, there are even better makeup brands that are cheap. It just happens to be the one most people use or have used.

Their concealer and gloss are also a must and they have great lipsticks as well. Their foundation is ok, and the prices are not too high. Derrick Smsith: It is really heavy. It feels like you have a face mask on. Whenever you blow your nose, it comes off on the tissue. Try Clinque, its around the same price, put a lot better.
